Dorothy Ferguson

Dorothy Roberta Dottie Ferguson went home to be with her Lord on October 17, 2011. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 1, 1930 to Walter & Lillian Kemplin. Dorothy was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church and served as a Good Shepherd and a Ladies Usher for many years. She was retired from Liberal Markets and worked part-time at Target for several years. Her life was dedicated to her faith, her family, and her friends. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gerald Ferguson and one daughter, Janet McIntosh Larry of Springboro, Ohio; two grandchildren, Larissa McIntosh of Springboro and Denyse Smith Jonathan of Delaware, Ohio; and two great grandchildren Alexis and Mitchell Smith, along with her beloved brother and sisters, Donald Kemplin, Patty Hall George, JoAnn McFarland, and Diana Frame Ronald, and many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Herbert Kemplin, and sisters, Peggy Hinkle and Betty Hall. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with a visitation on that same day at 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
