Emma Gillis

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Edith, Ed, Ron, Shirley, and Anna.

Emma is survived by her husband, Roy; two sons, Ernie Ray Gillis (Diedre) and Jeffery Scott Gillis (Tracey); one daughter, Jodi Paletta (Tony); two brothers, Irvin Akins and Terry Akins; and two sisters, Betty Taulbee and Ethel Isaacs. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ernie Ray Jr., Samantha Jo, Jeramy Roy, Emmaly Paige, Ryan Scott, Zachary Todd, and Jincy Reese and many other family members. The family would like to express their thanks to the medical staff at Sycamore Hospital especially Dr. Page and Dr. Lewis for all their care.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin) Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4-7 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
