Esley Marvin Heizer Sr.

Esley Marvin Heizer, Sr., age 81, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren County. He was born on April 1, 1944, in Lebanon, Ohio, the son of the late Jesse and Ina (Peyton) Heizer. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Peggy A. Heizer in 2018, his sister, Virginia Cornett and an infant brother, Everett Heizer.

Esley is survived by his three children, Esley, Jr. (Amanda) Heizer, Amy (Roy Ginter) Heizer, Adam Heizer; a brother, Larry Heizer; six grandchildren, Seth (Rashawna) Heizer, Kayla (Nathen) Lindsey, A.J. Heizer, Kiera Lay, James Combs, Michael Heizer; three great-grandchildren, Everleigh, Ryder and Raylynn.

He retired from General Motors in 2008 after 40 years of service, was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Eternal Hope Church.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Eternal Hope Church, 5419 Glendell Avenue, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Mike Rice officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Miami Cemetery in Corwin, Ohio. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
