Eugene W Bennett

Eugene Wilson Bennett, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Doris (nee` Barnhart), his first wife, Edna (nee` Hoff) Fields of 39 years, his second wife, Ladyann (nee` McComas) Fields, a son, John Bennett and a step-daughter, Jodi (nee` Fields) Centers.

He is survived by his children, Bill (Debbie) Bennett, Teresa (George-deceased) Robinson, Thom (Wendi) Bennett; step-daughters, Lisa (Dennis) Cecil, Paula (Bill-deceased) Hammock; step-son, Jeff (June) Fields; step-daughter, Judi Peffley. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

He loved the Lord and his Family. He was always in prayer for them and those around him. A hard worker but, would stop to help those in need. He has fought the good fight and now has received his reward of going home a Whole and a Renewed Servant of God and rejoicing with his loved ones that went on before. He leaves behind a legacy of what it means to be a servant of God. He lived by example. It was always his prayer that everyone would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. He was truly blessed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. with Funeral Service directly following at The Urbancrest Baptist Church, 2634 Drake Road, Lebanon with burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 Lytle-Five Points Road, Centerville.
