

Geneva Faye (Kremin) Emrich 84, of Franklin, Ohio passed away February 9, 2026 at her residence. Geneva was born on September 3, 1941 in Otway, Ohio, the daughter of William and Bernice Kremin. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1959.
Geneva is survived by daughter, Ronda Jean (Gary) DeBord, daughter -in-law Lisa (Appulese-Emrich) Wigger; grandchildren, Jessica (David), Alex, (Devan), Corey (Halley), Samantha (Caden), and Justin; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Eleanor, and Wesley; sisters Julia Brown, Donna Webb; brothers Bill Kremin and Monte Kremin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and very close friends. She was preceded in death by husband Ronald Gene Emrich and son Timothy Michael Emrich.
Geneva taught at Carlisle Local Schools for 26 years, where she was able to shape the minds of future scholars. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she was a pioneer in starting the Prayer Shawl Ministry that has grown in the last 10+ years.
A Graveside service will be held at Dayton National Cemetery - 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428 on Thursday, February 19, 2026 promptly at 10:00 AM . Visitation will be held the evening prior on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 at the Anderson Funeral Home - 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, Prayer Shawl Ministry in memory of Geneva Emrich.
