
Alford Jack Cornett, age 73, of Trenton, OH passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1942 in Middletown, Ohio the son of William and Grace (Warden) Cornett.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie (Oligee) Cornett; parents, William Blackburn Cornett, Sr. and Grace Cornett; brothers, Bill, Richard, John and Nick; sisters, Nancy Harris, Margo McGuire and Mary O'Malley.
Jack is retired from AK Steel and was a volunteer firefighter for South Middletown. He was the founder of F.O.O.T.S. Soccer. Jack was also a member of the Moose 501. He was a dedicated coach of softball/soccer.
Jack is survived by his three daughters, Kim (husband, Rock) Bridges, Aimee Cornett (husband, Buck) Simpson and Debi (fiancé, Corey Manning) Cornett; grandchildren, Travis (fiancé, Danielle Putnam) Bridges, Lindsay (husband, Jared) White, Tyler and Carrie Wolf, Kayde and Lucas Simpson; great grandson, Jet White; sister, Jo (husband, George) Potts, dear friend, Jan Hounshell; five sisters in law, Ruby, Brenda, Kim Cornett, Alice Jewell and Faye Carroll; three brothers in law, Mick Oligee, Martin O'Malley and Don McGuire; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11 am at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Celebrant Dan Flory officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
