

Jacqueline Stoneking, age 79, of Springboro, OH, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Jacqueline was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 8, 1932 to George Washington and Augusta Ann (Schneider) Mehring. Jacque was quite the "on the go", talented, artistic, religious, and patriotic woman, who loved to go places, laugh, and have a good time with family and friends. Her home and family were her priority. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lee Fred Mehring. She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Stoneking of 60 plus years, her children, Beverly (Bruce) Hildreth of Charleston, SC; James "Butch" (Cindy) Stoneking of Hudson, WI; Tami (Jonathan) Kadis of Knoxville, TN; and Jeffrey Stoneking of Centerville, OH, along with 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are Monday, April 23, 2012 at 12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4930 Central Ave. Middletown, OH 45044 with Bishop Bruce Clawson officiating. Jacque grew up in Miami Heights, OH, was a 1950 graduate of Taylor High School, and attended The Ohio State University. In July 1951, she met the love of her life, Donald. They both attended the same high school. On Christmas Eve 1951, they eloped. They built their home and raised their family in the same area and became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After the birth of their last child, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 16, 1965.
Jacque was a faithful, devoted member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings, including a full-time LDS Temple Mission in Orlando, FL. She was actively involved in various community organizations serving as PTA president, Girl Scout leader, president of the Bardstown, KY Hospital Women's Auxiliary, and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. She is a survivor of much, loved life and enjoyed traveling throughout the world with her husband. Jacqueline will be eternally loved by all.
