James W. McGuire

James W. McGuire, age 91, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Saturday August 25, 2018 at home. He was born in Stacy Fork, Kentucky on March 6, 1927 to Green and Monnie (Bailey) McGuire. James served in the Army during World War II. He was a carpenter with McGraw Construction for 32 years and also was a member of Roberts Dr. Pentecostal Holiness Church for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ray, Clyde, Russell, Robert and Michael, sisters, Magdalene Robinson, Shirley Willis and Ella Rose Johnson.

James is survived by his wife of 68 years, Cassie Ann McGuire, sons, Danny (Becky), Steve (Alice), Timothy, and Randy (Amy) McGuire, a daughter, Karen (Ray) Vaughn, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren. Also brothers, Jackie and Forest McGuire and sisters, Helen Fletcher and Janice Turner. Funeral services are 11:00 am Wednesday August 29, 2018 at Roberts Drive Pentecostal Church 9569 Roberts Drive Franklin, with Pastor Jimmy Jewell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with military honors.
