

On Tuesday May 6th, 2025 James Curtis Pennington went home to be with the lord at his home. James was born on April 20th, 1967 in Dayton Ohio to James and Wilma Pennington. He is survived by his loving mother Wilma S (Walters) Pennington and loving sister Beth Ann Pennington Heizer. His wonderful loving nephew Sean Adam Heizer of Columbus, Ohio and wonderful loving niece Summer Nicole Heizer (Michael O’Neill) of Franklin, Ohio. His loving cousin and hairstylist Susan Denise Walters Lema, and his loving Uncle Butch Walters, Aunt Wilma (Joe) Wallace Aunt Cathy Blake Louise (Cecil) Smith Ronnie (Carol) Pennington and along with many loving cousins and all of his red headed step family members lol. And two estranged children daughter Jordan Lynn Pennington and Son Michael Jaymes Curtis Pennington, and granddaughter Adilynn Rae Elizabeth Pennington. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Tracy and Opal Walters, Bill and Ellen Pennington. His father James (Curley) Richard Pennington, Loving uncles Hershal Ray, The Reverend Thomas, and Gary Walters, and a loving aunt Lois Ann Walters. Also his Uncle Frank (Sunny) and Aunt Martha.
Even though James suffered with Multiple Sclerosis for thirty-nine years, he lived life to the fullest and never once complained about anything and his life was lived like the energizer bunny just when you thought he was gone he bounced right back. When he was nine years old he accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. And never lost his wonderful sense of humor and never thought twice to ask how he could help when he heard about someone close to him struggling. James was a graduate of Franklin High School & Warren County Career Center Class of 1985. He attended Warren county career center for the auto mechanics program. And worked for Aamco Transmission in Middletown, Hamilton, Xenia and Beavercreek. And also had Jimms Repair & Repo company for a small period of time along with his father James.
James loved sitting around visiting with friends and family, watching movies and enjoying going out to eat also. He loved playing cards. And some of his favorite movies were Men in Black, Crocodile Dun Dee and the Shawshank redemption. He was a waffle house regular and loved being out there with them and visiting with everyone who came out and would talk with him. He loved blue and wearing t-shirts that had funny sayings on them such as This is a bunch of Donkey shirt or Proceed with caution already disturbed.
Private services will be held for James at the convenience of his family.
