James W. Renner Sr., age 70, of Franklin, Ohio, died Friday August 21, 2015 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Stanford, KY on February 20, 1945 to Walter and Sarah (Faulkner) Renner. James was a member of First Christian Church in Franklin, OH. He was employed with Dayton Power & Light for 30 years and retired in 1995. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Renner, mother, Sarah Renner, and son, Scott Alan Renner; and two sisters. James is survived by his wife of 49 years Diana Jean (Griffith) Renner; two sons, James W. (Melissa) Renner Jr., Carl Ray Renner; two grandsons, Scott James Renner, Austin Ray Renner; three granddaughters, Laura Renner, Michaela Wells, Kylie Brandenburg; also two sisters and seven brothers. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Tuesday August 25, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Jamie Renner officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
