

James Herold Wilson, age 89 of Franklin, passed on and continues His journey with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Atrium Medical Center; my journey is complete, I left this life with no regrets and experiences to reflect upon. He was born February 7, 1925 in Pomeroyton, Kentucky, the son of Rollie Tyler Wilson and Addie Davis Wilson. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II, and an 85 year member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by three daughters, Connie Joan Philip Etter of Idaho, Deborah Kay Gus Bake of Monroe, Priscilla Lynn Wilson of Franklin; one son, James A. Ellen Wilson of Franklin; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Cole of Middletown and Shirley Wellman of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Imogene in 2001; brother, Henry Clay Wilson; and a sister, Helen Pence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 215 S. Sutphin Street, Middletown with Dr. Timothy Cole, Reverend Jerry Heatherly and Reverend Vernon Hurles officiating. Visitation will be 5-8:00 pm, Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the North Monroe Cemetery with military honors.
