

Janice Christine (Tarter) Daulton, 74 of Middletown, went to be with the Lord July 11, 2020 at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Nancy, KY on July 24, 1945 to the late Henry Beecher and Bessie Mae (Beasley) Tarter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Vernon Lee Beasley; and dear friend Betsy Blackaby.
Jan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Forriest "Frosty" Daulton; sons, Mark (Missy) Daulton, and Mike (Michele) Daulton, both of Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Kelsea Daulton, Jake Daulton, Matt (Caitey) Banks, Timmy Taylor, and Chelley Cramer; great-grandchildren, Kai Zamora, Matthew Banks, Emma Banks, Ethan Banks, Benson and Brooklynn Braden; brother, David (Vickie) Tarter of Maineville, OH; sister, Kathy (Jerry) Cook of Nancy, KY; and a multitude of beloved nieces and nephews.
During her 35 years of representing Mary Kay Cosmetics, she worked her way up to the title of director. Jan has been a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church since 1970 where she taught Sunday school, Girls In Action class, and was a member of numerous committees. Dear to her heart was starting The Prayer Shawl ministry at Hillcrest along with her dear friends Geneva Emrich and Lynda Sands.
Jan was lovingly known as Nana by all of her grandkids, and even extended family members. Her love for the Lord, family, and friends was contagious. She had a style for fashion we all wanted to model - she was always so classy. Jan will eternally be Frosty's Sweetheart, and known as the "Queen Bee" to her family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 820 Central Ave, Carlisle, OH. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the church with Rev. Larry Lambes officiating. Burial will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Dayton National Cemetery. Donations in Jan's memory may be made to The Prayer Shawl Ministry at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
