Janice F. (McGuire) Turner

Janice F. (McGuire) Turner, age 78, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Franklin, Ohio on January 4, 1947, the daughter of the late Green and Monnie (Bailey) McGuire. Janice was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Vance and 11 siblings, Ray, Clyde and James McGuire, Magdeline Robinson, Russell McGuire, Helen Fletcher, Jackie McGuire, Shirley Willis, Ella Rose Johnson, Robert and Michael McGuire.

Janice is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Turnmire, Shera (Robert) Ingram; her brother and sister-in-law, Forrest "Bittie" (Betty) McGuire; 4 grandchildren, Tyler (Jennifer) Turnmire, Nicholas (Morgan) Turnmire, Tiffany Turnmire, Taylor (Tabatha) Ingram; 7 great-grandchildren, Paislee, Londynn and Tinslee Turnmire, Parker and Jase Ingram, Wyatt and Braxton Turnmire. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Janice attended Franklin High School and was a member of The Roberts Drive Pentecostal Church. She was well known for her singing and loved to perform with her brothers. Janice was a loving mother, mamaw and great- grandma who loved spending time with her family which was her world.

The family wishes to thank Terri Robinson for the loving care and kindness you have shown to Janice and her family. You are truly and "angel" on Earth.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 , at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio, with Brothers Jimmie Jewell and Chris Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Woodhill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday.
