Jaybird Trent

William Jay “Jaybird” Trent, age 64 of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home with his family and friends by his side, Friday, December 22, 2017. He was born February 25, 1953 in Richland, Washington, the son of Larry and Marge Trent. Jay retired from AK Steel. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Jay was a well-established harmonica player. He was a member of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge. Jay is survived by his wife, Sheree Garrett; two step children, Janet (husband, Donnie) Sizemore and Luke (wife, Ciera) Garrett; granddaughter, Olivia Sizemore; his mother, Marge Trent; brother, Gary (wife, Donna) Trent; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Trent. Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Masonic services at 7:45 pm. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
