James Leonard Yates, age 67, of Latham, Ohio, died Sunday May 25, 2014 at Maple View Manor. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 27, 1947. James served in the Army in Korea. He was formerly employed with Oxford Paper Co. James is survived by a daughter, Jamie Evans; son, Jacob Mackey; sister, Carolyn (Paul) Bruns; three brothers, Donald R. Yates, Gerald Yates, William Yates; step-sister, Deloris Lewis; and two half sisters, Jackie Myers, Margie McNabb. Funeral services are 11:00 am Monday June 2, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Kenny Brewer from Poastown First Church of God.
