John M. Schneider

John M. Schneider, age 73, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. He was the son of John E. and Jane (Troxell) Schneider of Miamisburg. He graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1967 and served in the Army from 1969 until 1971. John was an avid sports enthusiast who was a dedicated fan of the Franklin Wildcats, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed coaching, collecting coins & vinyls and traveling. He was an active member of the Deardoff Senior Center.

He retired from EG&G Mound in Miamisburg, Ohio.

John was preceded in death by his parents John E. and Jane Schneider.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally (Miller) Schneider and his loving furry companion,Buddie; son, Chris Schneider and daughter- in- law Allison Schneider; grandchildren Zackary Schneider, Logan Schneider and Matthew Schneider; daughter, Karin (Schneider) Back and son- in- law, Michael Back; grandchildren, Nicholas Back and Eryn Back; brother, James Schneider and sister- in- law, Linda Schneider of Okeechobee, Florida and nephew, Douglas Schneider.

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Anderson Life Celebration Center, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio. The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
