Kathy Leigh Pierman

Kathy Leigh Pierman, age 68, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her residence. Kathy was born in Dayton, OH on March 9, 1955. She was raised in Franklin, OH (Class of 1973). She married Larry Pieratt (now known as Jock Pierman), on June 11, 1971. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, devoted homemaker, friend to many and a talented writer of songs, poems and short stories.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jock, and daughters, Rebecca Whisman (Tim), Kyra, sons Michael (Tracey) and Daniel (Nikki), 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She loved God, her family, the ocean, music, children, puppies, (Roxanne, Lilly, Buddy) rainbows, Coke-a-cola, birds, sunsets, cake, being home, helping people, and many other loves too numerous to mention. Kathy marched to her own beat with style and grace. Someone said of her, "Kathy was a ray of light in a world of darkness". She leaves a giant void in the many hearts that she touched.

Funeral Services are 1pm Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Pennyroyal Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Berger officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12pm to 1pm at the church.
