My father he was the most amazing dad and person that made every one laugh and smile he never would let someone be sad around him he always put a smile on your face and loved to joke and Kidd with you he was a great dad one of the cooliest fathers a daughter could have, He taught me everything I ever knew about life he made me independent and the woman I am today , He raised 3 daughters and did a great job at being a mother and a father to me and my 2 younger sisters as I'm the oldest the first born so he was harder on me he wanted to make sure he taught me well and he did. He always taught me to stand on my own 2 feet and don't ever depend on some one else he made me to be a strong person and he was just awesome I remember when he use to take me with him every where he went , I even went with him to work he loves to brag to everyone about me lol and show me off at work and he would show me how to do a job and then he would say I'm only going to show you one time and one time only then I'm going to let you do it so you better watch and pay attention and I did he had me painting , wallpapering , stain and varnishing, heTing & air conditioning where he was a hvac tech and refridaige but as he would say dad can fix everything their wasn't noting he couldn't fix even a broken heart he would tell me what tools he needed and I would reach them to him as he would be up in a small cross space working on a ladder daddy always kept busy working always doing stuff from mechanic on vehicles to anything from putting motors in cars !! I remember As a teenager my friends would cd to see me and then they met my dad and forgot a out me lol they wanted to just come over to see and hang with my daddy he had all my guy friends aying guitars a lot of them he taught how to play and they just adored him as all of my female friends did to I miss him so much their isn't one day that goes by that I don't just sit and think about h and times we had and I find myself all the time just crying I'll go in a store and see something like gimmick bears he never liked candy when o was younger but as he got older he started liking candy that he use to buy me and my sisters like cherry licorice and gummy bears I love him so much he stays in my heart all day every day every where I go he's now the angel on my shoulder he watches my back I drive his truck now which he left for me and if you have ever heard the county song I drive his truck I just listen to it and cry my heart out !!' My dad was not just some ordinary dad and person he was so much ore then that he was different and what I mean by different is their will not be another one like him he was and always will be a one and a kind of person they don't make them any more uniqui as they made my father Kenny Ray church he was well liked by everyone and when I say everyone I mean Everyone!!! All me and my / sisters friends lived and adored our dad they still talk about dad and how much he taught them and he left a story behind every where he went. And I read on here where someone had wrote when he walked into a room he lite the whole room up and that was it the way it was to true story!! He was so full of life he taught me how to play a organ he bought me a Yamaha when I was -4 and I learned to play by him by ear I never read music notes he lived his music and loved Beatles the best it was his favorite band all threw high school and til he passed he loved country to Vince gill he likes slot and classic rock he could play just about anything a person sSnted to hear he now is playing in heaven with his best friend Donny smith and his mother aw thresher which passed about 10 months before him and he was really grieving bad over her he missed her so badly the last -0 months now he is with her God bless my dad and took him home to his new heavenly home with on 7 months after he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer he battled and tried to fight for his life he went threw 8 weeks of chemo and radiation and had a port in his chest and a feeding tube where he had a mass tumor the size of a golf ball in his throat he said it hurt so bD at times he could swallow over it Nd it even burnt to swallow his own spite and they shrunk it and went in to operate to cut it out and saw it wS inoperative itvwSvto close to his trachea they would of cut his trachea and he would of bleed to death on the operating room table and they also saw it hD started to spread into his lungs sent him home 6 days later he returned in critical cars sedated on life support he couldn't breath the machine was doing it his right lung was filled with fluid and his resporTory system wS shutting down their was noote they told me they could do for my father but keep he comfortable as he struggles 6 hours after takin him off life support he didn't want to be on a machine and said before if he wasn't going to come threw it take him off Fter / days so we did. I miss him so so much so now I'm getting the word out about this type of cancer to allow others to be aware and get early scans before it gets to the laters stages when you start hVing difficulty swallowing and breathing coughing and hoarse throat it's already in stage : like my dads. And once it starts spreading to lymph nodes it isn't long after that it attaches itself onto other organs god I pray we can find a cure for this beSt it made my dad loose so much weight he was down to about 111 pounds when he passed he couldn't swallow and food would get caught in his throat and come back up causing him to choke so it made it so hard to eat he was so malnourished god love him my poor father but no more struggles as he is out of pain now and with our Heavenly Father now thank you Jesus!! I love my dad with All of my heart and soul I visit him once a week usually on Sunday's! Love you dad your oldest daughter aka spider legs the nick nMe you gave me???????????? when you left me you Broke my heart in to !!

I loved the way he could walk in a room and brighten it up. He always knew how to make you laugh. He would bring my grandson a bag of candy. Him and Kenny made quick friends. I will miss you so bad but as you always said see you later.
I loved listening to him play and sing. He was so talented. I will miss him. What a wonderful man.

The Heavens just got them one heck of a man - Kenny we will never forget the way you lit up the room - We love and will miss you........

I already miss you little Mouse.. I am so thankful for our long talks, and that I got to play music with you!! We shared passions that run deep! I couldn't paint like you, but I could hike for miles to capture images in another way. I photographed what was in your heart. I got to play songs you wrote WITH YOU! Not many can say that...and for that, I am honored. You never wanted anyone to worry about you; but you know I did anyway. Only 2 weeks ago, we laughed together, and cried together. We miss our folks desperately, but our hearts reflect theirs regularly! I still laugh when I hear people say, "Kenny was Kenny!" What you see is what you get! No one had to figure out what you were thinking, you let everyone know clearly! You had a heart the size of Texas! Since you loved it there, I figure that is why. Your heart truly longed to be in what Mama fondly called "Gods Country" London Ky! Well bubby, I stood in our family cemetery yesterday, and ohhhh the view you will have! You can see our farm so clearly from there. The second I entered the gate, a hawk lit on a tree above my head and called so loudly it startled me...and he kept calling the entire time I stood there...and I thought of a few scriptures that reminded me of you. I wanted to publically THANK YOU for being such a fantastic big brother. For putting all those boys through the Kenny Test, to see if they had YOUR approval....Gary got it right away! and, even though I never told you this... you got every single one of them RIGHT ON. I didnt know at the time, but figured it all out later. Man such a keen insight! I end up the sister of 2 genius brothers..that can make life rough at times, but so blessed mostly! I am glad I got to THANK YOU in life, not in death. I am gad I am my mothers child, and I let my emotions be known. I dont HIDE love and hugs... I am very glad to give it. You made people laugh until you could no longer speak..for that I thank you! The Bible tells us laughter doeth good like a medicine! You knew THE FATHER.. You never called him God... only The Father, because as you said, He is your heavenly Father. I whispered a few things to you Sunday, and I know you have already done them; and for that I am GRATEFUL! Kenny NEVER said "Goodbye" because Goodbye means forever; instead he would say... "see ya later!" So, while you made that magnificent Heavenly journey, as Randy, April and I held your hand... once you had moms hand, and were in the arms of so many loved ones, we simply left, and said... SEE YA LATER... because WE WILL! Here are the passages I wanted to leave you with. I will continue to sing to you, as I did in the hospital..but now, it will be with a smile, and not tears..because now I know you are no longer suffering, but have mounted up with wings of eagles.. and I know you are PAINTING again and playing music!!!!!!! I can't wait to see and hear, the things that have poured from your heart, once you entered the very presence of our Father in Glory, and found your eternal resting place, through what Jesus Christ has done for us!

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; (Kenny couldn't paint anymore, once the stress and worry of this word, began to erase the pictures in his mind and heart. Now... there are no worries or cares in his mind or heart, so he will be cranking out the most beautiful art and music one could ever attempt to imagine! I never heard Kenny say he was tired, until a couple of weeks ago.)

Isaiah 40:30-31 ...30 Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, 31 Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. (If you asked Kenny, "Kenny, how is your heart with the Lord?", He would cross his fingers, pat his heart, and say, God and I are like this!" He loved the Lord, he served his fellow man, and he despised evil! He uncovered evil, and let people know where evil stood. Spiritual warfare happens around us constantly... Kenny was on the front line, exposing evil. He was a soldier! He may not have fought for our country, but he fought for our family and WHAT WAS RIGHT!! Lastly, I am thankful I got to see Kenny my older siblings interact so many times. Kenny Randy and Linda grew up together. That didnt mean they didnt have room for a little squirt like me when I came along.. they MADE ROOM. Their hearts are all so full of love, we never saw each other as half brother sisters... EVER... there are no halves in my life.. Either you are or you are not my brother and sister...and that is determined by the relationship we share and the love we show one to another. We see each other through hard times, because we LOVE each other. We arent in it FOR ME, because it isnt about ME..its about US. My older siblings taught me that.... and for that, I will ALWAYS be grateful. See ya soon il Mouse... save me a good spot at the big fishing hole, and dont forget, you are still suppose to show me how to catch a catfish in a barrel!
