Kenny retired from the City of Spingboro. His faith in God was first and foremost as a devout born again Christian. He was a very generous man with a great sense of humor who was beloved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alex and mother, Elsie (Neace) Smith and grandson, Jonah R. Smith. He is survived by his son, Brian J. Smith; daughter, Lesha M. Smith; ex-wife and close friend, Brenda Rogers; brothers, Leon (Sharon) Smith and Roger Smith; sisters, Joan (Ron) McKinney and Ginger (Bill) Martin and many grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 12:00pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin with Pastor Elmo Johnson, officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Kenny's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
