Kevin Joe Adams (AKA Kevin #1- but that will always be up for debate), passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. Kevin was born January 4, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio the son of James and Shirley (Flanary) Adams. Kevin is survived by the love of his life of 24 years, Jennifer (Emery) Adams. Son Ryan Adams (Taylor); Daughter Hannah Adams; Brothers Jeffrey (Cathrine) Adams, Jerry (Sandra) Adams, Greg (Teresa)Adams, and Keith (Dee) Adams; he is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends that loved and adored him dearly.
Kevin held an Associates degree of Applied Nursing (RN) from Sinclair Community College, which allowed him to selflessly help others throughout his career. Kevin held many roles throughout his career but most recently spent the last seven years working at CHI Health at Home as a Regional Director of Clinical Services.
Kevin enjoyed listening to music, hunting with his Father, brothers and son, golfing with close friends (albeit not very well), rooting on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, spending time with his family and friends, as well as his nightly bowl of cereal.
Taken too soon, Kevin was a devout Christian, kind hearted, giving and gentle soul. He was a dedicated Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Friend, worker and provider. Family was his number one priority in life. Kevin was a selfless man who lived by saying "what can I do to help". We should all ask this of ourselves everyday. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Kevin's honor to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11AM until the time of service at 1PM at Wellspring Baptist Church located at 2094 East State Route 73, Waynesville, Ohio 45068. Graveside service to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Sean Ireland officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. The family would love to see you all there.
