The coolest thing about my grandpa was that he liked the hit music always. I could put pop songs on, and if he didn't already know the song he was curious about who it was by. My grandpa was so funny. I don't know how many times he has utterly embarrassed me in public by not being afraid to say or do what's on his mind. I can remember when Meijers was under construction and they had plastic construction hats on the inside for the kids to just wear for FUN! My grandpa made me (14 at the time) wear the hat all around the store. If I took it off id get yelled at and was told to "stop messing around." Eventually I realized I shouldn't try taking it off, instead, I should wear it backward.  That did not fly either. He said to stop and that if I wasn't careful the construction debris was going to hit me in the head! I was so embarrassed, but now I think back on it and I miss him telling me to do things that made no sense, but only sense to him.  I love his laugh especially when he was laughing to himself for only a reason he knows.  It would make me laugh, and I love laughing! I miss him so much! :)

This breaks my heart .  Kevin and I grew up together he is my cousin and being so close in age, he and I spent a lot of time together.  My funnest memory is being at his house and his bike broke. So we both were working on fixing it.  Both of us had grease all over us.  I didn't know girls were not supposed to get that dirty, I just knew he needed my help.    I have always loved you dear Kevin.   See you soon.  Save me a seat in Heaven. And hug my Justin for me.  

Kevin loved spending time with his kids and grand kids, and was very proud of them. I remember he was always excited to celebrate birthdays. There wasn't a question he wouldn't ask, but it led to interesting conversations. He will be missed.
