L.D. "Jack" Skinner

SKINNER, “JACK” Luther Darrell, age 94, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Friday April 8, 2022 at the Ohio Hospice. He was born in Weston, West Virginia to Luther and Vesta Skinner. Jack loved his First Baptist Church of West Carrolton, Ohio where he had been a member for his last seven years. He enjoyed doing yard work and he kept his yard in pristine condition.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Ann; sisters, Geraldine Singleton, Virginia Cunningham and Norma Jean Swisher; brothers, Richard Skinner, Charles Skinner and James Skinner.

Jack is survived by daughter, Jane Finster (John) and Melissa K. Skinner; son, John D. Skinner (Dee); grandchildren, Matthew Finster, Kendra Boyette, Kelly Miller and John T. Skinner; 9 great – grandchildren; sister, Jo Ann Blake, as well as, many nieces and nephews. He will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the First Baptist Church of West Carrolton, Ohio, 705 South Elm Street, West Carrolton, Ohio 45342, on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 pm until Memorial Services at 6:00 pm. Pastor Scott Wells will be officiating.
