Marceline D. Donathan, age 82, of Trenton, passed away Sunday at the Atrium Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Ashland, Kentucky, December 9, 1927, the daughter of Charles and Mary Crump. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed her family, and the birds who came to her yard. Her favorite saying was to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. Survivors include her children, Charles Nancy Donathan, Terry Bill Myers, Michael Donathan, and Gerri Lynn Steve Estep Donathan; 9 grandchildren, and 21 greatgrandchildren; her siblings, Minola Zollie Heizer, Clifford Betty Crump, Dortha Lawrence King, and Nellie Crump; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Crump. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1990; and siblings Clyde Ottie Crump, Samuel Crump, Sylvin Ed Highley, and Charles Edward Crump. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 21, at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
