

Marilyn Baker 73, of Kettering, Oh passed away Sunday February 17, 2013 in Port Charlotte, Florida. A native of Jackson County, Ky she was the daughter of Thomas and Letha (Ball) Sandlin. Marilyn worked 20 plus years as a Systems Analyst at the NCR corp. and she also held numerous positions in product management, product development/installations, sales training and ATM testing and support. During that time Marilyn not only contributed significantly to the company's success but also developed lasting relationships with her friends and associates due to her unfailing ability to provide positive and helpful support. She was also Past Commander of the Dayton Sail and Power Squadron.
Marilyn enjoyed life and lived with passion. She stood out from the crowd by her actions and made the world a nicer place. She drew you to her with her down home way, easy manner and she was a wonderful wife, and a faithful loyal friend that could always be counted on.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Ellis, Naomi, Calvin, Howard and Charles.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Michael, 2 step sons, David (Julia) Baker and Andrew (Michelle) Baker, a grandson, Thomas Michael Baker, sisters and brothers, Bernice Skidmore, Dwaine and Ron Sandlin, Barbara Flemming, Carrie McDaniel and Webbie Sandlin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St. Franklin. Visitation will be Monday evening 5 - 8 pm.
