PAUL,MARGIE, amp;FAMILY, WE WERE SO SADDENED TO HEAR THAT MIKE HAD PASSED ON. WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT HE IS SAFE IN THE LOVING ARMS OF OUR SAVIOUR AND THAT ALONE GIVES US ALL PEACE BEYOND UNDERSTANDING. WE ENJOYED MIKE AS A KID AND SAW HIM GROW INTO A MAN. AFTER SERVING IN THE SERVICE WE LOST TOUCH WITH HIM BUT NEVER THE LESS WE ALWAYS ASKED ABOUT ALL OF YOU WHEN WE RAN INTO SCOTT. WE PRAY THAT HIS WIFE AND CHILD WILL RECEIVE COMFORT THAT MIKE HAD SO MANY FRIENDS THAT CARED ABOUT HIM AND THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS HE HAD TO ENDURE WERE A CONCERN TO SO MANY. YOUR FAMILY WAS KNOWN TO LOVE THE LORD AND WAS AN EXAMPLE TO OUR COMMUNITY OF CARLISLE. EVERYONE WHO LOVES THE LORD HAS NOTHING BUT JOY IN THEIR HEARTS THAT MIKE BECAME A BORN AGAIN CHRISTAIN. THE ARTICLE THE MIDDLETOWN JOURNAL WROTE WAS AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL AND MIKE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS COURAGE AND DEVOTION TO HIS LORD AND FAMILY. WE HAVE BEEN IN FLA. SINCE THE 21ST OF NOVEMBER AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHOW OUR RESPECT TO MKE BY ATTENDING HIS FUNERAL. HOWEVER; WE ARE THERE IN SPIRIT AND WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP ALL OF YOU IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. Paul, Margie, Paige amp; Scott, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and Mike's family today. My heart is heavy amp; hurts for you. I want you to know that I have so many wonderful amp; funny memories of Mike when we were growing up. The one that stands out the most is the camping trip I took with your family to Myrtle Beach and Mike's sunburn. That is just one of many memories I have of Mike. His laughter and smile as a child will live in my heart forever.

To the Wells Family - I grew up on Welcome Way and can remember coming over to your house a few times. I always remember Mike with a smile on his face or dunking a basketball in practice. Although not close friends, I share a funny story with Mike that makes me think of him all the time. We went out after a game in high school Preble Shawnee. Mike's Junior year I believe. We actually got in a fight with Shawnee on the floor at the end of the game. We somehow ended up in Franklin that night and a couple of big guys chased us out of a house. We both ran as fast as we could but I happened to be driving so I took the only punch of my life in the jaw that night. Mike escaped thankfully and I told my mom that I must have been elbowed during the brawl after the basketball game since my jaw swelled up the next week. Whenever I brag about taking that punch which is probably too often, I think of Mike and that smile. May God Bless your family... Mike Dietz

As I sit here trying to put into words about my little brother I am so sadden not to have him here with us, but knowing where he is and that he is whole again I can rejoice again. Mike was not only my brother, he was also my friend. I feel truley honored to have had been a big part of his life and we all will treasure the memories we hold so dear of him in hearts. Micheal fought his sickness with honor and dignity and in return to him, he is my HERO. Rest in peace little brother. Sis

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Michael. I have such fond memories of him when we were in school together. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with you and your family. Patti

Wells Family - Larry and I send our deepest sympathy for your loss. We remember Mike when he was very young #45;- such a cute and nice kid. May the many great memories of Mike bring you peace at this time.

Nic, I am deeply saddened for your great loss. You are such a fine young man. Obviously, you have someone to take that nature from. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I wanted to share a story that was so generous of Mike, and has grown even more generous as time has gone by. He was my best quot;guy quot; friend in High School. My sophomore year, we had plans to go to Homecoming together. My dad died suddenly a week before. Mike took me to dinner, but since I didn't want to go to the dance, we didn't. How mature and generous for a teenage boy to be!! He was kind to everyone, and as parents, that shows how he was raised in a loving home. He will be missed. I am out of town, and unfortunately will not be back in time to make the service. I'll be praying for all of you.

Deepest sympathies to all of the Wells family. Mike was a kind and caring person and we were privlaged to call him our friend.

Mike will live on in all of our hearts always...it's just unbelievable that this could have happened to him. I will forever think about him and how life cheated us when it took him away.

Graduated high school with Mike and remember that smile well. May the Lord give you comfort and strength at this time.
