Mildred Simpson

Mildred L. Simpson, age 77, of Middletown, devoted Christian, wife, and mother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born July 8, 1935, in Huntsville, Ohio to Charles and Estella Peck. She graduated from Lynchburg High School in 1953. She was married to Allen O. Simpson on August 1, 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margie Peck and Marty Kindt; and two brothers, Eddie and Floyd Peck. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Allen; six children, Floyd Simpson of Texas, Debra Gary Maloney of North Carolina, David Donna Simpson of Franklin, Ohio, Sandra Eric Hoover of Florida, Ronald Deanna Simpson of Franklin, Ohio, and Gregory Tanya Simpson of Franklin, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Howard Betty Peck of Franklin, Ohio, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. At her request the funeral services will be private and burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
