Mollie B Holbrook

Mollie B. Holbrook, age 93, of Franklin, OH passed away peacefully at her home on February 20, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. Mollie was born in Breathitt County, KY on January 12, 1933 to the late John Boyd and Alpha Myrtle (Boggs) Smith.

She married the love her life, Norman, in 1951. Mollie was a lifetime member of the Pennyroyal Baptist Church in Franklin, she enjoyed reading, quilting, genealogy, working in her flower gardens and watching the birds outside her window.

Mollie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 2020, her son, Johnnie in 2021, her sister, Carolyn "Cricket" Griffen, her brother Ernie "Darrell" Smith, her grandson, Kevin Back, her sister-in-law, Shirley (Monk) Smith. She is survived by her son, Norman Kenneth (Tammy) Holbrook; her daughter, Donna (Wayne) Back; her grandchildren, John Holbrook, Devon (Nick) Monk, Travis (Kathleen) Back, Tammy (Ludovic) Bardeche, Kenton (Kristen) Holbrook, Kristen Holbrook; fourteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Seldon Smith; her brother-in-law, Leonard Griffen, her daughter-in-law, Betty Holbrook; her sister-in-law, Dora Smith.

Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, OH 45005, on March 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Sherrill Sizemore officiating.

Burial will be at Springboro Cemetery.
