Nancy Ruth "Lambert" McClelland

Nancy Ruth "Lambert" McClelland, age 77, of Franklin, Ohio, died Sunday August 9, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Landgraff, West Virginia on August 15, 1937 to Clyde and Sally (Williams) Lambert. Nancy was a member of Pennyroyal Baptist Church. Nancy was fully devoted to her faith and her family. Proverbs 31:28 states "Her children arise up and call her blessed..." Nancy was not only called blessed by her own children and grandchildren, but also those who were only in her life for a short while. There wasn't a child who grew to know Nancy that did not feel the unwavering love of a mother. Nancy was an amazing cook. We will treasure the fellowship we enjoyed over our many Sunday shuffles at Granny's house. She made the very best homemade biscuits and gravy. Although, we will miss them it is her bright smile and contagious laughter that will never be forgotten. The prayer of her heart was to see all of her children come to the saving knowledge of the indwelling life of Christ our Lord. Nancy's steadfast faith helped this prayer be answered. Her legacy of faithfulness to the Lord will be forever etched into the lives she touched. She would want anyone reading this to know that you are loved by our Heavenly Father and you can have eternal life through him. Her life verse was Galations 6:9 "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." She was preceded in death by her Father, Clyde Lambert, Sr., Mother, Sally Blanche Lambert, Husband, John Franklin McClelland, Brother, Clyde Lambert, Jr., Brother-in-law, Robert Taylor and her grandson John Caleb McClelland. Nancy is survived by her Son, Mark McClelland; Five Daughters, Cathy (Robert) Lawing, Judy McClelland Hall, Bonnie (Rudy) Spencer, Melissa (Jim) Tucker, Renee (Ray) Grabeel; Three Brothers, Rev. Joe (Rosie) Lambert, Scott (Carol) Lambert, Roger (Judy) Lambert; Two Sisters, Gladys (Robert) Bell, Barbara Lambert Taylor; granddaughter, Angela (Mark) Dean, Brian (Miranda) McClelland, Beth (Jason) Moore, Brittany McClelland and Michael DeCock, Joshua (Ashley) Clifford, Matthew (Jenni) Clifford, Luke (Ashley) Clifford, Aaron (Celeste) Spencer, Blake (Kara) Barnett, Mekayla Barnett, Clay Barnett, Sarah (Chris) Heidtman, Emily Tucker, Kevin Crockett; great grandchildren, Alexis, Brenna, Olivia, Paxton, Josephine, Tayven, Anthony, Kyleigh, Ethan, Gavin, Gracie, Nicholas, Cameron, Lainey, Brooke, Reese, Austin. Brothers-in-law Clifford (Eudean) McClelland and Ted (Barbara) McClelland and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 am Thursday August 13, 2015 at Pennyroyal Baptist Church 3733 Pennyroyal Road Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Josh Clifford and Russ Lambert officiating.
