Naomi "Jean" Benton

Naomi "Jean" Benton, age 70 of Trenton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Naomi was born in Middletown, Ohio on April 10, 1945 to the late Albert and Ercie Williams.

Jean was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and her church. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Benton, and siblings, Waylon Buchanan, Trulin Williams, Arneda Richardson, & Geri Siler; brothers-in-law, Tom Masterson and Earl, Charles, Elwood & Lonnie Ray Benton; sisters-in-law, Oletta Sorrell & Lavota Oligee. Jean will be missed by her loving daughters, Tammy (John) Franklin & Trisha (Robert) Lacy, brother, Carney (Sandy) Williams; sister, Tina Masterson; grandchildren, Tyler Franklin, Gabby Franklin, Wesley Franklin, Rebekah (Alex Hale) Miller, Andrew (Alexis Quillen) Miller, Robbie Lacy & Samantha Lacy; great-granddaughter, Sophia Miller; many special nieces & nephews including, Jack (Paulette) Peck & Gene (Kara) Siler; sisters-in-law, Evalee Lykins, Rella (Don) Barrett, Sue (Harley) Hosmer.

Funeral services are Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 West State Street Trenton,OH with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Burial in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at church.
