Nell Bauer, age 94, of Franklin, Ohio, died Thursday November 3, 2016 at Woodlands of Middletown. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 8, 1922. Nell was an active member of the Middletown Women's Bowling Association and a Hall of Fame member. She was owner and operator of Laynecrest Lanes for 25 years and retired in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband Anton Bauer. Nell is survived by her son, Raymond (Fran) Bauer; grandson, Rob (Shannon) Bauer; and two great grandchildren.
