Phillip Samuel Cundiff

Phillip worked for 40 years at Armco Steel in the hot strip retiring in 1995. Outside of working at the mill, Phillip was an outstanding wood-worker and made many coat and quilt racks, as well as various furniture. He always had a beautiful garden, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. For over 30 years, he would take fishing trips with family and friends to Annandale, Minnesota to Camp Friendship, where he and his buddies would catch fish with his hand made CC spinner baits.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 59 years, Maxine Cundiff; granddaughter, Samantha Cundiff; and brother, Theodore G. Cundiff.

Phillip is survived by his son, Anthony Cundiff, and his children, Andrew, and Hannah Cundiff; daughter, Tina Cundiff, and daughter, Vicki (Jerry Richards) and their children, Maggie Richards and, Logan (Breanna Colwell) Richards, and their son, Reed Richards; sister, Miriam Rambo; as well as many extended family and friends.

A visitation for Phillip will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Miami Corwin Cemetery.
