Rea Marie Fulkerson

Rea Marie Fulkerson, age 86, of Carlisle, OH; died Saturday March 20, 2021 at the Atrium Medical Center. Rea was born in Camden, NJ on January 3, 1935 to the late Stanley Dale and Eva (Jones) Fulkerson. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School and the University of Tennessee. She served in the United States Army Women’s Army Corps from 1966 to 1974. She loved to travel and lived in Germany while in the Army and thereafter in many parts of the U.S. Her sisters, Leatha Fulkerson Stewart and Nancy Fulkerson Barrett, preceded her in death. Rea is survived by seven nieces and nephews, James Andrew (Susan) Stewart, Jr and Bruce (Robin) Stewart both of Franklin, OH; Mary Stewart (Scott Tompkins) of Maple City, MI, Elizabeth (Andrew) Simkin of Poplar Ridge, NY, Katherine (Sanjay) Kohli of Glen Ridge, NJ, Nicole Barrett (Dr. James Stewart) of Vancouver, BC, Canada, Mark Barrett (Dr. Inca Chui) of Portland, OR; numerous great nieces and nephews, and her brothers-in-law, Dr. James Barrett of Lancaster, OH and Dr. James A.
