Reese Coleman Oliver Jr., age 79, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Reese was born in Kentucky on June 17, 1945 to the late Reese Coleman and Maggie Lucille (Faulkner) Oliver.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School and he was on the football team. He was formerly employed with NCR, Dayton Tire & Rubber, NDM and retired from Chem Station after 20 years of service. Reese was an avid bird watcher and was a member of the National Audubon Society. He enjoyed camping and hiking.
Reese was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Oliver and his sister, Judy McIntosh. He is survived by his daughter, Valoree Oliver Harrison; his grandson, Cole (Kiarra) Harrison; his great granddaughter, Isla Harrison; his brother, Orson (Cathy) Oliver; his brother-in-law, Mitchell McIntosh and his ex-wife and good friend, Ginger Plowman.
A Private Memorial Service will be scheduled with military honors on Monday November 18, 2024 at the Anderson Life Celebration Center at 4pm.
