

Roy S. Riley Sr., age 89, of Franklin, Ohio, died Friday October 30, 2015 in Medora, IN at the home of his daughter. He was born in Gays Creek, Kentucky on May 5, 1926 to Arkansas and Evaline (Smith) Riley. Roy served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was discharged as a Sgt in Military Police and was a longtime member of the NRA. He was employed with Miami Valley Carpenter's Union #113 for 35 years and retired in 1983. He was preceded in death by his father, Arkansas Riley, mother, Evaline Riley, wife Edith Hope (Lainhart) Riley; sons, Gregory Kline Riley, Sr. and Marshall Jude Riley, Sr., brothers, Arkansas and Don Riley. Roy is survived by his four sons, Mark Wayne Riley, Sr., Roy Steven Riley, Jr., Glen David Riley, Sr., Tony Douglas Riley, Sr.; four daughters, Jo Ann Riley, Donna Marie Riley, Sandra Kay Hamilton, Rita Renee Singleton; five brothers, Robert Lee Riley, Charles Riley, Bill Monroe Riley, Paul Riley, Alex Riley; 33 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Friday November 6, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Reverend James Monroe Riley officiating.
