Steve - I am proud to always have that smile to remember. More than a relative -> you are a friend / a kindred spirit / my blood. We link in so many ways ... you loved your wife, loved your family, loved your dog(s) and loved your motorcycle ! My kinda guy. Though distance kept us apart - probably a good thing - we share a bond. You had an influence and effect on everyone you encountered and lived life with gusto! Always out in front you ran your own race and ran it well....rest in peace brother, let's ride. To Carrie, Corey, Kyle and his mother, brother and sisters - you were the light of his life. Carrie => you made his dreams come true.

I am not able to be with you today because of my work schedule.But I wanted to let you all know that I have memories that I will save forever and share with my 3 kids and 2 son in laws and my 7 grandkids (1 more due in march or april) of the years that I called steve my friend.I don't have the words to express to your family how much I miss those uncomplicated days.I love and miss steve and your family.Tim Roberts

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Steve.  My Loveland High School basketball teammates and I worked for him 20 years ago as referees of the Loveland Youth Basketball League, which he ran. Steve was also the PA announcer for all of our varsity basketball games. Not only was he our employer and announcer, he was a friend to all of the players, always having a smile on his face and bringing such big, contagious energy (no matter how early in the morning). I bumped into him about years later, and he instantly remembered me and my teammates like it was yesterday, still having that fun, outgoing personality.  Steve will be really missed, such a great guy.

I joined Silfex 6 months ago, so I only had the opportunity to know Steve for a short time, but in that time he became such a bright spot in my day.  He would walk down the HR hallway with such an awesome smile it was hard not to interact with him.  To his family I am truly sorry for your loss and hope that with time his memory will bring smiles and more tears of joy than sorrow.  His colleagues at Silfex are sending continuous prayers to his family and friends and will miss him always

My  thoughts and prayers go out to the Sears and Jackson families.  My fondest memory of Steve was his  dedication not only to his own children but to other young people whose lives he touched through athletics.

Carrie,I didn't know Steve,but from all of the pictures that I saw of you two together,I could tell that he was pretty special! He would want you to go on with your life and I know that it will be hard without him. Stay close to the Lord and he will get you through this terrible time. So sorry for you honey.

Many memories reside in my heart.  All of the laughter all of the tears all of the hugs have remained with me and have blessed me throughout the years.  Steve's tender soul touched the world.  All of you are in our prayers.  I love you.  Always.
