Steve Gibson, age 81 of Killeen, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Killeen. He was born July 23, 1932 in Manchester, Kentucky, the son of Harvey Gibson and Della Hensley Gibson. Steve retired from Hamilton City Schools. He is survived by two daughters, Della Ditmyer of Killeen, Texas, and Alma Whitson of Middletown; a son, John Gibson of Trenton; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Georgie Hughes of Hamilton. Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Cindy Roark Gibson; a great granddaughter; a sister; and two brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
