Teresa was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She went to Heaven on Sunday morning, May 23, 2021, at the age of 52. Teresa was born in Kettering, Ohio, on February 7, 1969, the daughter of Ron and Loretta (Willis) Frost. She was the older sister of Rhonda (Frost) Campbell. She met her husband, Paul McGrew, in high school and was married on May 9, 1992. Together, they had two children, Megan and Matthew.
Teresa worked at the Franklin Municipal Court for eleven years before deciding to stay home when her kids were born. As the kids grew older, Teresa held various positions in the Franklin City School District. She began volunteering at Hunter Elementary School. After a few years of volunteering, she was hired as an educational aide at Hunter Elementary and eventually moved to the Junior High School. She transitioned to the High School and held positions as a front office secretary and the athletic office secretary. Most recently, she earned her current position as Payroll Coordinator.
Teresa most loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling to new places, hiking, having bonfires, playing board games and cards, eating fruit smoothies, watching Survivor, biking, gardening, and playing soccer and basketball. Teresa coached her own kids in soccer, basketball, baseball, and track. She later continued her coaching career as the Franklin Girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach for two years.
Teresa chose every day to demonstrate God's love through her willingness to encourage and improve the lives of those around her. She continually searched for ways to help others. Her words and actions expressed God’s love. She was a listening ear, provider of guidance, and mother to many. Teresa was a role model and had a positive impact on the lives of those who knew her. She had a passion for helping children and making sure that they knew they were valued. Although Teresa is gone, her impact will never be forgotten. She will live on in her family, her work, and the community.
