Thelma Mae Johnson

Thelma Mae Johnson, age 96, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Thelma was born on November 18, 1928 in Hamilton, Ohio at the family farm to the late Lyman and Elizabeth Imhoff (Seeley).

Thelma was a bus driver, and mother. She was the engine that made the family run her whole life. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to cook, bake, sew, play checkers, and cards. Her favorite thing was cooking big meals for the everyone in the family and anyone else who wanted to come.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neal Johnson Jr.; sons, Kenny and Ted; and grandson, Herbert Neal.

Thelma is survived by her sons, Terry, Everett, and Fred; grandchildren, Terry Jr., Jared, Brian, Timmy, Matt, Corey, Angie, and Heather; great grandchildren, Parker, Jayden, Riley Jo, Savanna, Evan, Conner, Harper, Leland, Leona, and Callie; as well as many extended family and friends.

A visitation for Thelma will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Thelma will be laid to rest at Springboro Cemetery.
