I grew up with Tina and graduated from WCHS the same year. We often talked about our families, as we both grew up with step parents and siblings - step being a word we both despised. We lost touch many years ago and then reconnected on FB in 2010. I soon realized that Tina was the same, big hearted caring person I remember laughing with in Jr. High. She was so incredibly proud of her kids, loved to talk about her hubby and thought her mom was the most wonderful person ever. And of course we talked about her beads. Last fall my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer. The very first person to reach out to me when I asked for prayers on FB was Tina. From October to December, while I was living through my nightmare, Tina was going through hers. BUT had I not learned from her about her test results, I'd have never guessed how short her remaining life would be. After my husband passed away in December, Tina and I talked and messaged many times. Tina's focus was ALWAYS on her concerns for how I was doing! I haven't been going on FB since my husband's memorial. I stopped hearing from Tina around the end of February. I've been afraid to go on FB in fear that I'd learn what I did tonight, and that is that Tina has left us. I so hope that she and Eric, my husband, met! They would so enjoy laughing together! To Tina's family - thank you for sharing such a beautiful and loving person with us! The impact she made on my life - even from afar, was HUGE! I pray she's loving in heaven, like she loved on earth. I'm certain she is being loved there, even more than we could have ever loved her!

So saddened  to hear of Tina's passing. I remember her as a "red-headed spirited little girl". One of my vivid memories of Tina was when she sat with me at Grandma Link's house, (on a Family-Holiday) and adored my new-born daughter (back in 72-73) and Tina combed my hair and put pigtails in my hair and we all laughed, Lisa and Grandma too.

Mike, Nic and Stephanie – our condolences on Tina’s passing. We have fond memories times spent with Tina on ski vacations, beach trips, and warm afternoons on the Gangl back deck in Maryland.  We appreciated her warmth, friendship and sense of humor.  You are in our thoughts.

Tina was quite small when her father, Mike, my cousin passed away! I remember her only as a very young girl. She was full of life even in time of her loss! I am certain she will be missed by her husband , children, and her mother Mary.

It was a summer afternoon after golf. We shared a picnic on Torres' deck. We laughed and shared family stories and had a swell time enjoying each other. That day I learned the depth of Tina's love and empathy for others. I share cherish that memory, that day with Tina and Mike. God bless you all.

To the family and friends of Tina Gangl, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. Tina Gangl was an extraordinary person with a huge heart and a very compassionate soul. I am so grateful for the opportunity I had a few weeks ago to take her to lunch and spend several hours talking with her. When I showed up she had a huge smile and gave me a big hug. We went for a drive and stopped in at her Mom's hair salon and said "Hello!" She was tickled to be able to see her Mom. She suggested we go to Flyboys Deli in Oakwood and we had a very nice lunch. She wanted to go to Dorothy Lane Market and then after that we went to Big Sky Bread Company. She wanted to get her favorite "Seriously CInnamon" bread. It was so nice to see her smile and feel good that day. I just wish I could have spent another day with her taking her to lunch. I will always remember the time I spent with her and her big smile. I will miss her dearly.
