Violet Powell

Violet Louise Powell, age 88, of Franklin, Ohio, died Friday March 14, 2014 at Franklin Ridge. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on April 23, 1925 to Clifford and Ellen (Freezer) Stiver. She was employed with Metropolitan Life for 10 years and retired in 1995. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford E. Stiver, mother, Ellen E. Stiver, husband, Dick Powell, brother, Roy Stiver, nephew, Michael Stiver. Violet is survived by her son, David (Kathi) Powell, daughter, Carol Ann Sparks, 2 grandsons, Justin R. Smith, Kyle Sparks, granddaughter, Davena Gerard, 2 great-granddaughters, Chelsea, Brittany, great-grandson Brock, brother, William Stiver, sister-in-law Frances Stiver, nephew James (Annette) Stiver, great-nephew Anthony, great -great-niece Madison and great-great-nephew Noah. Funeral services are 6:00pm Monday March 17, 2014 at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 E. 2nd Street, Franklin, Ohio with Celebrant Dan Flory officiating.
