Virginia I. Stepp

Virginia I. Stepp, age 86, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Tipp City, Ohio. Virginia was born on June 14, 1938 in Lothair, Kentucky to the late John and Bertie (Helton) Peters.

Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed playing golf and was a longtime member of the Franklin Golf Club. She attended Church at the Harvest Ranch Cowboy Church, and also participated in activities at the Deardoff Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, James E. Stepp in 2006; sisters, Kathleen King, Maxine Howard, and Shirley Leach; and brothers, Coy, Roy, Bill, and Bob Peters.

Virginia is survived by her daughter; Susan (Marc) Basye; son, James H. (Heather) Stepp; grandchildren, Melissa Stepp, Candace Bruce, James M. (Ciera) Stepp, Jennifer (Adam) Basye - Zelik, Carole Basye; great grandchildren, Nikki Loring, Deja Layman, Isiah Layman, Chloe Hughes, Kaylee Hughes, Riker Bray, Reece Bray, Rayne Bray, Ellis Zelik, Mikhail Stepp, and Samuel Stepp; sister, Lorene Deaton; as well as many extended family and friends.

A visitation for Virginia will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Virginia will be laid to rest in Woodhill Cemetery.
