Wandsfel Collinsworth

W.C. Collinsworth, age 84 of Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Butler Warren Counties on March 15, 2026. Born in Magoffin County, KY on December 1, 1941, he was a son to the late Leslie & Lois (Phipps) Collinsworth. W.C. loved to go hiking and travel to new places, photography and reading. He had a love for classic movies, and listening to music from the 30's, 40's. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, something he was very proud of. In his free time you might find him singing, and regardless of the situation, "it needs more salt" seemed to be the ultimate fix. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Vickie Lynette Collinsworth, brother Gordon Collinsworth: brother-in-laws Clayton Adams; Cleatis Howard.

Survived by his wife Jeanne (Foley) Collinsworth, whom he married July 13, 2013: daughter Gina Collinsworth: siblings Faye Adams; Lenore Howard; Linda & Dave Barnhart; Bonnie & Roger Blair; Rheaetta & Bob Campbell; Portia & Steve Blair: extended family Drs. Anthony & Lori Foley; Keith & Kathy Foley; Brian & Heather Foley, Amelia Foley; Shannon Foley; Matthew Foley; Keira Foley; Johnathan Foley; Caila & Cole Pomroy; Tobias Foley; Josey Foley; Cathryn Foley: as well as many much loved nieces, nephews.

Friends may call on the family from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45055. Funeral to be held at 3 PM with Pastor Chris Hall presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes's Hospital in W.C.'s Honor.
