

He married his high school sweetheart Joyce Fredrick of Hamilton, OH. He joined the Army and was stationed in Fort Knox, KY. After discharge from the Army, they returned to Hamilton, OH. Joyce was killed in an automobile accident in 1959.
Mr. Curtiswas married to Jean Blazer Curtis from 1984 until her death in 2014. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Russell Curtis. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Barry) Woods of Charleston, SC, sons, Steven (Tina) Blazer of Sugar Bush Knolls, OH, and Douglas (Jane) Blazer of Middletown, OH, as well as grandchildren Lauren (Stephen) Roland of Charleston, SC and Grace Blazer of Bella Vista, AR. He was anticipating the upcoming birth of great-grandson Bryant Lawrence Roland. He is also survived by Barbara Curtis (sister-in-law) of Hamilton, Kristy Blazer (mother of grand-daughter, Grace), of Bella Vista, AR and many friends in Bella Vista, AR.
Mr. Curtis graduated from Hamilton High School in 1952. He received his Graduate Realtors Institute designation from the University of Cincinnati. He graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA in 1965.
Hewas the owner of Wayne Curtis Realty of Hamilton. He served two terms on the Butler County Planning Commission and was a Real Estate Negotiator for Penn Central Properties until he retired in 1992. He and his wife, Jean moved to Bella Vista, AR in 1994.
Hewas a member of the Grand Lodge of the Free Masons of Ohio, Scottish Rite and Syrian Shrine.
Services will be held Wednesday, 12:00 pm, May 11, 2016 in Middletown OH with Minister Ray S. Jones officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Breitenbach-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Mildred B.
