William "Henry" Greathouse

William "Henry" Greathouse, age 100, formerly of Springboro, Ohio, died Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Brookdale Pinnacle Assisted Living Grove City, OH. He was born in Fargo, Kentucky on July 3, 1915 to C. R. and Annie (Bolden) Greathouse. William was a member of Eastern Star Lodge #55 F AM, A.S.S.R Valley of Dayton, and A.A.O.N.M.S. He was employed with CSX Railroad for 30 years and retired as Chief Engineer in 1980. He was preceded in death by his father, C. R. Greathouse, mother, Annie Greathouse, first wife Ruth Greathouse, second wife, Ada Greathouse, brothers, Lewis Greathouse, Paul Greathouse and Phillip Greathouse, sisters, Dolly Salley and Delpha Lawson. William is survived by his three sons, Ellis Greathouse, Dale Greathouse, and Monta Greathouse; three daughters, Doris Butler, Carol Faye Wolf, Juanita Phillips; sister, Mildred Graves; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 E. Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Benny Sutherland officiating.
