William Treadway

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lexie Marie Treadway of Middletown, his three children Richard (Cathy) Treadway of Middletown; Aimee (John) Lauletta Treadway of Hudson; and Edwin (Betsy) Treadway of York, Pa. He was the proud grandfather of Sarah (Andy) Tyree, Seth Treadway, Michael Matthew and Mary Lauletta and Holly Treadway. He is also survived by brothers Ralph & Donald Treadway. Mr. Treadway was uncle to niece, Mary Terrill of Middletown and nephew Bob Frazee of Franklin, and many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Manda Treadway; sisters Evelyne Rathburn and Irene Lawson; and brother Ed "Peanut" Treadway.

Mr. Treadway retired in 1987 after 42 years of dedicated service with CSX Railroad. He was a member of the Franklin Board of Education, and Eastern Star Lodge #55 F & AM of Franklin. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Mount Pleasant Retirement Community, Garden Manor, Bridgewell Hospital and Vista Hospice Care.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Smile Train and Hospice. Funeral services are Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, Ohio. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, OH.
