Adorado Nisnisan was born in 1940 in Misamis Occidental and grew up with nine siblings. He was known for being kind, friendly, intelligent, and loving. Many people loved him because he made everyone feel welcome and cared for. He was also gifted with a very good memory and an excellent sense of direction.
He devoted much of his life to education. He taught at Adamson University and AMA Computer College, where he served as Chairman of Social Sciences, Languages, and Business Administration.
In 1978, he married Fidelina Nisnisan and lovingly accepted her seven children as his own. After becoming part of the family, he was fondly called “Prof” by the children because of their love and respect for him. Though two of the children have passed away, he remained a caring and devoted husband and father who always put his family first.
He later followed his wife to the United States and worked hard to provide for the family. He worked with the Santa Clara County Office of Education in Special Education, where he became loved and respected by coworkers and friends because of his kindness and dedication.
Adorado was also a talented writer, painter, pianist, and singer. He was a devoted Catholic who served in the church choir and played the piano for many years. He only stopped joining church activities when illness made it difficult for him to continue.
His life was filled with love, faith, service, and dedication to family. He will always be remembered for his gentle heart, wisdom, talents, and the kindness he shared with everyone. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The Nisnisan and Sto. Domingo family would like to express their deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who extended their love, prayers, support, and words of condolence during this time of bereavement.
