Our Nana… So many memories; so much joy; so much love. We feel blessed beyond measure to have enjoyed such a loving, caring, and uplifting person in our lives.

There is no “one memory” of Nana that stands out as a favorite, rather, a situation: greeting her. Each and every time, seeing Nana, she made you feel like seeing YOU was HER single greatest joy in life. She loved nothing more than to give hugs, kisses, praise, and support. Although she rarely asked for anything, she gave her love freely, making everyone feel as though they were an extension of her family. 

Her legacy is one of love and kindness.  Her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, were made to feel so very special; a standard we will all aspire to emulate within ourselves, for the lifetimes ahead. 

Even in her death, Nana brought family together. She will be missed, and her memory will be forever cherished. 

We love you, Nana, so very much. 

Ann was such a beautiful light in so many lives. I have very fond memories of lunch dates with Ann and Mary. Ann came to my children’s weddings and I’ll never forget the joy on her face as she danced with all of us. The love between Ann and her family was something to be admired. Mary is a most loving and devoted daughter and Ann certainly deserved such love.  RIP sweet Ann!

Shirley and I met Nana in her early 90s while with Mary and Mark Sellers and saw her at church . She was so beautiful and patete and quietly radiating  God's love and sweetness!
Heaven is blessed to have her as a permanent resident in her Manson and Jesus welcomed her with open arms!
 

     Grateful, determined, humble, persevering, and prayerful- these were traits Ann exhibited throughout the last four years of her life.  Upon my friend, Mary’s request, I began full-time caregiving for Ann just before her 91st birthday.
     Along with her loving, RN daughter, other loving family members and friends, Team Ann caregivers, and medical personnel, I witnessed the amazing journey of a frail woman as she fought to keep living, with the help of her Lord and God.🕊
   From being at death’s door, Ann trusted and followed the advice and encouragement of Mary, who advocated with the doctors, nurses, and healthcare personnel for the best treatments possible.  With God’s enablement Ann persevered and recovered from serious conditions and learned to live with hemodialysis.
     She always thanked people who helped her. She tried to do her best when challenged with new goals. She thanked God for answering her prayers and bringing kind people to assist her.
     I will miss her sweet smile, her concern for others, and the way she called almost everyone “Honey” and told them she loved them.  She was a blessing, encouragement, and example to many of what it means to never give up, yet she looked forward to Heaven. ❤️

Nana was truly a gift to our family and we were so blessed to have her in our lives. Her loving and caring nature were so palpable they could light up a room. She was always kind and compassionate. While her passing will leave a void in our family, we are comforted to know that she is with her Heavenly Father now. Her faith was demonstrated in word and deed and was an example to all who knew her. Nana, we love you so much. We will miss you dearly. We look forward to the day where we will see you again.

From the moment I met Mama Ann, I knew my life would be changed.  She was always happy to see you. She made you feel like the most special person in the world.  I loved listening to her hum while cleaning up the kitchen. It was comforting.   It was my pleasure to have been a part of her life.  May GOD Grant her Eternal rest.

As we were new to Ohio, Ann started out as our friendly neighbor, quickly turning into our dear friend and very soon after became “Mama Ann” my “adoptive” mother.  The bright light that beamed from within her was evident to everyone who knew her. The warm smile, the sweet laugh, her soft comforting words, her love of everything Englebert, and her absolute devotion to her family made her such a joy to spend your days with! She could shop with the best of them and oh what a little Barbie doll she was! She never appeared her age! Others would marvel when they would find out how old she was. She was a true stylish beauty without even trying. She had so much love to give and give she did! I felt truly warm in her embrace, and she always made me feel that right there as “one of the family” was where I belonged! I will miss her immeasurably, but the tattoo she has placed in my heart will remain right there. I know you are up in heaven teaching a choir of angels the chorus to “after the loving” with a huge smile. And Mama Ann, after YOUR loving we all are STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU ❤️.


I was fortunate to meet Mrs. Cusella in 1973. She was a sweet, warm, loving person to me and everyone she met. My memories of her were that she was always smiling, humming, laughing and taking care of everyone around her. Her faith and family were number one in her heart.
I know she will be missed by all who loved her.  My thoughts are with her family and friends.

 I truly loved her.  She was gifted in grace and full of love. 

I’m always amazed at God’s grace in my life, He’s given me such beautiful gifts; they are almost always...people. 
And she was one true gift...❤️

If you’ve been hugged by her, you know. You know there’s been a transfer.  A transfer of honest love; a gift she freely gave.  And you never walked away from those arms without a kiss too. 

Thank you for being an expression of love in my life.  XO  I’ll always love you. 

I had the pleasure of knowing Ann for over 30 years as the mother of my dear friend Mary.  I was always greeted with a huge smile,  those sparkling eyes and bubbly personality!  She was a spirited woman who loved her family deeply and loved those of us who were lucky enough to be her daughter’s friends. 

When my mother passed away, I asked Ann if she could be my surrogate mother - I couldn’t think of anyone better! It was always comforting to see her in this role I gave her. 

We will miss you Ann! I can just picture you now dancing up a storm with your husband and Annie,  humming sweetly as you move around:).

My fondest memory of Aunt Chick is from one of our Ciarlo-Bavaro Reunion Picnics at Elma Meadows in Elma, NY.  Aunt Chick  had a sweet conversation with my daughter Janet (8 or 9 years old) and myself. She told us how she got her nickname (which I knew).  Being my youngest child,  I often called Janet “my baby”; now she understood a part of Family Love.  God Bless you Aunt Chick. Love from Joanie, Jim and Family 

She raised a wonderful daughter. My mom passed away one month ago and its still hard to believe it.

We remember Nana, as a loving person with a beautiful smile. She will truly be missed but never forgotten. Heaven has received an angel.
