Bernardo Bernie R P Dacasin

Bernardo Dacasin passed away in his home in Milpitas Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the age of 53. Bernardo is known to his friends as “Bernie”, “Dodit” and “Uncle D” to his family. Bernie is predeceased by his father, Anselmo Liwag Dacasin Sr. Bernie is survived by his loving children, Charlie and Catherine. Bernie is lovingly remembered by his mother Ester Dacasin of Milpitas; brothers: Anselmo Dacasin Jr, Ferdinand Dacasin of Milpitas; Franklin Dacasin of Penngrove; sister Generosa Roxas of Milpitas; sister Estela Sorillo of Union City; brother Albert Dacasin of Antioch; and loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Bernie was born in San Carlos, Pangasinan in 1961. He worked as a custodian at St. Athanasius of Mountain View.

Bernie enjoyed sports, especially basketball, as well as movies and spending time with his friends and family.

The visitation will be held at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont CA on April 11, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm and April 12, 2015 from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm; April 12, 2015 from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm at St. Athanasius, 160 N Rengstorff Ave. Mountain View, CA

The funeral service will be held at St. Athanasius on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10:30 am, with Fr. Oscar Tabujara officiating. Cremation to follow at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary at 2:30 pm and interment privately with his family at a later date.
