

Stella Carolina Martinez Rosales was born to Jaime De La Rosa Rosales and Martina Reyes Martinez on December 18, 1929 in Tingloy, Batangas, Philippines. Her father was awarded as "The Most Prominent Citizen" by former Philippine President Magsaysay. Carolina was a favorite of her father's. She was the 13th child of 15 children.
Born with beauty and grace, she was crowned as Ms. Tingloy Elementary School in 1939. She gained other beauty titles, such as Ms. Bauan, Batangas in 1944, crowned as Reyna Elena in Batangas Pier in her HS sophomore year, Ms. Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro in 1945 and Ms. University of Manila in Sampaloc, Manila in 1947.
She attended high school at St. Bridget, Batangas City and was an intern at St. Scholastica's, Manila. Her favorite subject was English. She was well versed in every aspect of the English language. Carolina lived in the city of Manila for several years prior to moving to the U.S. soil in 1980. She had seven children, Baby, Cheryl, Jun, Boyette, Joy, Carlo and Lala. She was blessed with 11 beautiful grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Carolina was primarily a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family. She was loved by many for her charm, kindness and generosity.
On the cloudless morning of August 1st of 2016 at 7:35 AM Pacific Daylight Time, Carolina Martinez Rosales died at her home in her sleep and gracefully joined her Heavenly Creator in peace.
