I remember the day I first met Clifford in July 1965 at the Southern Pacific Office in the Mechanical Department.  We worked together off and on for the next 27 years.  Will miss him as I used to visit him on my trips to the Bay Area.  He was just a few years older than me.  I hope to live as long as he did.

Thank you for allowing me to call you Daddy. I had known you for more than seven years- I still remembered I met Clifford at the Dr. William Nicholson office on May 2007. I felt that you are like my own Dad. In fact I see you more often and closer than my own Dad- (I left VN when I was sixteen- I never see my own Dad again-since 1980) and then i remembered you like to call my name "Stefie" daughter. Very sweet of you- Daddy!!!

You were passing suddenly and quick I have not say a few words to you yet. With tearful eyes and see you pass away, what moves through us is a silence, a quite sadness, a longing for one more day, but we will never forget so many sweet memories of the time that we took you and Mom (Renata) out for lunch or dinner for your “ Father day” or Birthday. It was one of the most memorable days of our life. Those are the kind of things that you will be remembered for- it's a happy thought knowing that wherever you are. You are cheerful, happy and full of funny to sharing stories always making people smile and bringing laughter.
Thank you- Daddy for sharing your care, love and all the wonderful memories that we spent together from time to time.
You are only spreading happiness in my live as well. And while it's going to be very difficult to think of this world without you, you have such a good heart, nicest and the kind of man people would be proud to be.

To my friend for life,
It was twenty-five years ago that I met Clifford at the Southern Pacific office on Brannan Street in San Francisco. I was a proud Private top secret service security officer and where I also met our long-time mutual friend Andy Anderson now living in Texas.  I hope he lives to 100.  I had worked with Clifford for two years before the 1989 big quake.  I was with Clifford many more years after that.  After Clifford retired, we kept in touch. He talked about how he got to California and went to work for the Southern Pacific after he got out of the Army.  I enjoyed his company.  He loved to travel around USA.  I visited him at Fresno and Oregon.  I will always keep him in my memory whenever we go to 'Sweet Tomatoes" restaurant.  I will be thinking about his favorite hangout down the road.  Clifford was a wonderful friend for life.  He always wanted me to be good moral character.  Respectfully, Donald Lee

Cliff was like a brother to me he brought laughter and sunshine  always had a smile no matter what.He was a kind person with love for everyone and never a harsh word for anyone.He will be missed by all of us at the PTSD group here in Fremont but he will live on in our hearts .
